The Role of Wirco's Heat Treatment Rod Framed Baskets
Wirco heat treatment baskets are custom-made to fit our customer’s exact dimensional requirements and range in size from a few inches up to 12 feet and larger. Heat treatment baskets can also be produced partially out of castings and wrought material or supplied as an all-cast product from our Champaign foundry. Heat treatment baskets are used by most of Wirco’s heat-treating clients to contain and move parts through their furnaces.

With us having the capabilities of being vertically integrated in our manufacturing process we can oversee our products from cradle to grave and when they arrive to you. Our baskets thrive on being fully fused through pressure welds and showcasing constant and consistent grain sizes within those welds while operating within your heat-effective zones.
